Bio

Angus Burgin is Associate Professor of History and Director of the Program in Moral and Political Economy at Johns Hopkins University. He is author of The Great Persuasion: Reinventing Free Markets since the Depression, and is currently finishing a book on the hopes and expectations that accompanied the early internet (and how and why they went awry). He also serves co-executive editor of the book series Intellectual History of the Modern Age.
