Bio

Jazmin Sierra (Ph.D in Political Science from Brown University) is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and a Faculty Fellow at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She specializes in global finance and development, state-business relations, and industrial policy. Her research has been published at Comparative Political Studies, International Studies Quarterly and Security Studies, and has received funding from the Social Science Research Council and the Smith Richardson Foundation. Jazmin’s book project, Globalizing State-led Development, examines how developing country governments promote the outward investments of domestic firms.
